Course Overview
The Basic Quran Reading Course for Kids at Al Falah Quran is designed for young learners who are new to Quran reading or have only a little background. Children ages 5 to 12 + Adulut can enroll and gradually develop strong recitation skills.
This course helps your child read the Holy Quran with correct pronunciation, fluency, and accuracy—without mistakes.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Read the Holy Quran in a proper Arabic style with correct pronunciation
- Recite the Quran accurately according to Tajweed rules
- Memorize the last 20 Surahs of the Holy Quran
- Learn important Islamic teachings, including cleanliness, prayers, fasting, daily duas, and manners
Syllabus Content
1. Noorani Qaida (Letters, Sounds & Rules)
The course begins with the Noorani Qaida, a highly effective beginner’s book that teaches Arabic letters, sounds, and basic Tajweed rules.
Students learn step-by-step:
- Arabic alphabets
- Proper pronunciation (makharij)
- Joining letters
- Basic recitation rules
This creates the foundation needed for fluent Quran reading.
2. Quran Reading
Once a student completes the Noorani Qaida with correct pronunciation, they move on to reading the Quran directly.
At this stage, tutors guide students until they can recite the entire Quran correctly and confidently.
3. Basic Islamic Teachings
Along with reading, students also learn essential Islamic knowledge, including:
- Cleanliness and personal hygiene
- How to perform Salah
- What fasting means
- Daily Duas and Kalimas
- Basic manners and Islamic values
Lesson Structure
Students can choose 2, 3, 4, or 5 lessons per week, each lasting 30 minutes.
Every lesson is divided into three parts:
20 minutes – Quran reading & Tajweed practice
5 minutes – Memorization of short Surahs
5 minutes – Basic Islamic teachings
